What drove her to create Ayok’a, while searching for art prints to hang on the walls of her home, Alice could find no outlet to buy the kind of artwork she was looking for: something that reflected her African heritage, with a contemporary twist. That gap in the market inspired her to create this platform, with the vision to make art by black artists available to the many who want it.
